NAPLES, FL private jet charter

While it’s not as old and perfumed in terms of history as the Italian city with the same name, Naples, a little city in Florida, has every reason to be proud of its qualities. It’s one of those little sea side towns you end up forming a bond with if you like the sun and the fun it brings, as you’ll end up travelling to this resort over and over again. Naples is not as posh or extravagant as other touristic cities in Florida or the South of the US, but its appeal comes from that coziness, from the fact that you feel like in a little town by the beach.

Naples is mostly a dry and hot city, as the area has a tropical savannah climate. There are two seasons, basically- summer and winter- with the first being rather rainy and the second dry. Overall, the amount of precipitations is smaller than in other resorts, so you can enjoy more days of sun and great tans. Basically, once you’re in town, you can start relaxing and having a damn good time. You can experience scuba diving and fish sighting or enjoy a nice yacht session or small boat exploration. Besides the ocean related activities, there are so many other things you can once in Naples.

The town and surrounding areas are home to many national parks and preserves, which contain species of plants and animals that are on the brink of extinction. For example, the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is a sanctuary for many species of endangered trees. Many species ended up being endangered due to intensive logging in the second half of the twentieth century. Species like Bald Cypress and Pond Cypress grow in considerable numbers, being the home for many endangered species of birds as well. The fairly rare wood stork nests here, while many other endangered bird species, like the painted bunting, come here for the winter. Other species of birds found in the sanctuary are the great egret and snowy egret, the black-crowned night heron or the tricolored heron. All these nice birds should watch out, as alligators and cottonmouth snakes lurk in the swamps. There is a 3 kilometer long boardwalk over the reservation, so you can walk around and admire all these magnificent trees and animals, some of them impossible to find anywhere else.

Another exciting destination is Everglades National Park, which conserves around a quarter of the original Everglades. This location is as wild as they come, really, with plants and fauna not being bothered from their natural way of life, hunt, reproduction and growth. The most common type of ecosystem here is the swamp, home to a variety of birds, amphibians, reptiles and small mammals. The vegetation is also abundant, with grass growing as tall as 6 feet, while slow and muddy waters lurk underneath. There are also some rather rocky areas in the park, hosting the remaining 100 Florida panthers and other rare animals and plants.

Or if you’re more the exploring type, you can have a trip to Ten Thousand Islands, which is a chain of small islands in Southwest Florida. Naples has its own international airport, while air cabs assure connections with attractive locations like Key West. Naples private jet charter hire is another alternative you have for flying into the city, and you can even plan a complete trip, with stops in all of the important resorts in Florida.
